Other dogs and animals.
Here are some of the other dogs here at Crazy M Ranch!
Beast, she is out resident meany, though with age and loss of teeth she is more like a Bumble now! Dumped at the Humane Society 11 years ago because she was harassing dogs much larger from her. She has become a beloved member of our pack. Two years ago she blew a disc in her back and now walks a little funny.
Wiley. This is a great example of when adopting a dog to match your energy. We love him to death, but because he is a healer he has extremely high energy and it has been hard for us to keep him happy.
Chewie, red and white Chihuahua. This guy has extremely bad teeth and has many pulled, poor guy has a tongue that hangs out one side of his mouth now.
Lacy my tiny Chihuahua. She is my window ledge, sun worshiper!
Pepper is a brindle Chihuahua. He came from a pet store in the mid 90's and his poor breeding is apparent. He has extremely bad cherry eye in both eyes. One had to have surgery, he has seizures, and his temper can be horrible. We love him anyway.
Sandy was wild caught as a pup. Her and her sister took me a while to tame down. They were in the Humane Society ready to be put down, but I knew they had great hearts in them. I sat with them quietly for days and eventually they came out of their shell. Sandy's sister Breezy moved up to Seattle 11 years ago. Sandy became on of the best dogs I have every owned.
Toes is a black and white mutt. We think Border Collie and Akita. This guy is a big doofus. He has 7 toes on his back feet and 6 on his front. Toes always has something to say!
Zip, our lovable, gentle pit mix. He is the biggest wimp. This dog actually laughs out loud a lot.
Frankie is a cocker mix and when she came here she was a runner. Once she was out she was gone. Well no longer, she has a lot of space to run and follow her nose. Even outside the gait she is really good at coming when called. No real training here, she just knows a good thing.
Squirt - Black and Tan Dapple. Her nick name is Wiggle Butt because when you pay her attention she gets her tail waggin then her rearend gets going then her whole body moves. She is 11 pounds with blue eyes. Retired.
Abby - Chocolate and tan. This little girl is my weasel. She wiggle, squirms and at times runs like a weasel. She is a great dog just a little aggressive toward Shimmie and other dogs outside my pack. Abby is no longer available to breed, I just had her spayed. She now gets to enjoy retired life at the young age of 3 1/2. Retired, I am happy to have her spayed, she will be a more satisfied and happy dog.
Burt - Chocolate and Tan Piebald. This guy was to be in my breeding program, however, he came to me as a double cryptorchid (his testicles were retained up in his body). I had him neutered. I proves that even if we ask all the right questions we can still get duped by an unscruplulous person.
This is the dog portion of the ranch. I have doves, turkeys, chickens, cat and llamas as well.
If you would like to donate to help any of these animals it would be extremely appreciated. As stated on my home page, I do not have non-profit status, but all donated money goes strictly for the care of the animals. This includes, medical care, dentals, food, beds, and whatever else they need. If you would ever have any questions, please feel free to contact me at highdesertdogs@live.com
Thank you.
